Shukhrat Teshaev appointed as Deputy Minister of Agriculture

By a presidential decree, Shukhrat Teshaev was appointed First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Uzbekistan, correspondent reports.

Prior to this appointment, he served as deputy khokim of the Fergana region for agriculture and water management. Over the years, he worked as deputy general director of the Uzbek Scientific Research Institute of Cotton Growing, general director of the Pakhta Scientific and Production Association, as well as the Minister of Agriculture and Water Resources of Uzbekistan.

"In his new position, Teshaev will oversee the development of cotton growing, grain growing, agricultural mechanization, as well as the analysis of the needs of agriculture in water resources," the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture noted.
